Вироби з віскози добре поглинають вологу, але у мокрому стані втрачають міцність, тому вимагають особливо дбайливого прання. Віскозу краще прати вручну при 30°C пральним порошком для деликатных тканин або здати до хімчистки. Віскозу не можна терти, викручувати або віджимати у центрифузі. Гладити ж віскозу краще в режимі «шовк», у вологому стані або через вологу тканину.
